Jim Gallagher, Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Lentz Milling Company, recently attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at North Dakota Mill. The event celebrated the finalization of the Mill’s expansion project. Jim attended the ceremony on behalf of Lentz to congratulate and thank North Dakota Mill, one of Lentz’s primary flour suppliers.

Given North Dakota Mill’s long-standing relationship with Lentz, they asked Jim to come to the ceremony and speak on behalf of our company.  Just as North Dakota’s milling capacity is increasing, Lentz’s business with North Dakota continues to grow as well. This project will also help Lentz serve customers’ increasing needs, and Jim was happy to support the company’s expansion and reunite with some familiar faces.

North Dakota Mill’s milling capacity has increased by 30% as a result of the expansion. They are also now the largest single site miller of spring wheat in the United States.

“This project will allow North Dakota to better serve their customers, which will then in turn allow us to better serve the ongoing growth of our customers and their increasing demands,” says Jim.

Prior to his speech, Jim also presented North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple with a Carson Wentz Eagles jersey, establishing a connection between Grand Forks, ND and Reading, PA. This gesture also helped to acknowledge that, although our companies exist in different parts of the country, we are linked together in a number of ways, including through our shared common goal: providing quality products and service to our customers.
